Robert Franko, CPA

I’m Robert Franko, the founder of the firm. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Georgia and an Enrolled Agent (EA). As an EA and CPA, I hold unrestricted rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Both designations require strict adherence to ethical standards and ongoing professional education.

My background sets me apart in the industry. I have extensive experience with the IRS, where I served as both a Revenue Agent and a Revenue Officer. This insider perspective makes me an expert on tax audits and collection matters, allowing me to effectively resolve even the most complex IRS issues.

Additionally, I gained accounting and tax experience at KPMG, where I focused on state and local tax returns, and worked for the State of Ohio handling financial reporting and workers' compensation compliance.

Accounting is my second career and my path to the profession was unique. Before entering the field, I served as a police officer with the City of Opelika, Alabama, retiring in 2017. The skills I honed in law enforcement—investigative "detective work," clear communication, integrity and problem-solving—are invaluable assets in my tax and accounting career today.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Rain, our son, River, and our two dogs, Pika and Henry. We frequent the parks and trails in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. I am also a ham radio enthusiast (call sign KR7CPA). I am a member of the North Fulton Amateur Radio League and Gwinnett Amateur Radio Society.

My goal is to make your tax and accounting matters simple and stress-free. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime; I’m here to assist you on your financial journey.

Sincerely,

Robert Franko, CPA
